Henry HengeveldHenry is a retired climatologist who still works part-time with the Meteorological Service of Canada (Environment Canada) in Toronto. He and his wife, Jane, live in Willowdale, Ontario, and are members of the Willowdale Christian Reformed Church. They have four adult children and six grandchildren. Jack GehrelsJack Gehrels is a retired electronics engineer. He and his wife Lenie live in Tollendale Village, a Christian retirement community in Barrie Ont. He is a member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Barrie. Jack was a board member since 1994 and served as chairman from 1998 to 2006. He resigned from the Board in 2007 for health reasons, but continues to serve as an advisor. He can be reached at: gehrels@eol.ca |
Anne KoeneAnn works as a public health nurse in Toronto, and lives in Scarborough, Ontario. She is a member of the Willowdale Christian Reformed Church. Together with her late husband, Adrian, she co-founded the ROF in 1991. In recognition of her pioneering work in the history of the ROF-Kingdom Children, she remains an honorary member of its Board of Directors. |

Jocelyn MurayaJocelyn is Kingdom Children’s National Coordinator, serving as the link between the partners and Board of Directors in Canada, and the ministry in Kenya. Jocelyn has a long career of ministry to at-risk youth, and she has a good understanding of the cultural and political challenges facing communities in Kenya. She believes wholeheartedly that she has been called by God to express His care to a hurting and broken world. Jocelyn, her husband John and son Joseph attend the Baptist church in Nairobi. John works at the University of Nairobi as a lecturer at the Institute of Development Studies, and Joseph is 11 years old and currently in class 6. |

Adrian KoeneAdrian was a co-founder, with his wife, Anne, of the Romanian Orphans Fund in 1991, and was an inspiration and constant promoter of the ROF and subsequently the ROF-Kingdom Children until his sudden death on August 2006. His enthusiasm and zeal for the program will be missed. |
